HR Internship Overview

Lilly's Human Resources internship is designed to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to work on challenging, business-critical projects within the HR organization.

  • 10-week internship
Sample projects 
  • Creating a virtual campus recruiting plan
  • Designing solutions for key large-scale manufacturing processes
  • Analyzing site-wide equipment reliability issues and developing sustainable strategies for solving these issues
Minimum Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (e.g., human resources, all business disciplines, psychology, communications, social sciences, or liberal arts)
  • Expected graduation December 2027

HR Foundations Program

HR Interns who receive full-time offers post-internship are hired into the HR Foundations Program. HR Foundations is designed to help integrate new hires into the HR function. The program provides undergraduate hires with two rotational experiences over their first two years at Lilly to create a foundation in HR, establish business knowledge, and foster understanding of career opportunities. This program is designed to help you explore your career, grow, and develop as an HR professional.
The HR Foundations program is a comprehensive two-year rotational program for new HR associates. HR Foundations Associates rotate through 2 foundational HR assignments, each lasting 12 months.
