Lilly celebrates a long history of commitment to veterans and supporting the military, both in the workplace and in the community. In May 1876, Colonel Eli Lilly founded what would later become the only major U.S. pharmaceutical company founded by a U.S. military veteran. Today, our commitment to our military includes career opportunities, veteran community programs, volunteerism and other aid.

The Veterans Leadership Network (VLN)
The Veteran's Leadership Network is an employee resource group committed to bringing together the community of veterans, service members and families at Lilly, and to promoting the understanding of the service culture within the company. Any employee, regardless of military background, can join the VLN.
