In 2022, Lilly announced a major investment in the development of a state-of-the-art biotech manufacturing campus at a greenfield site in Raheen, Co. Limerick. This “Next Generation Biotech” drug substance facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site to date. Next-generation manufacturing technologies will include advanced data collection and analysis systems that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, along with increased productivity and process performance.
