Lilly Biotechnology Center (LBC) San Francisco features an advanced laboratory and working space dedicated to preclinical and clinical research for the discovery and development of biotech medicines. The site also houses a location of Lilly Gateway Labs, Lilly's shared innovation accelerator that provides participating companies with state-of-the-art lab space and unique access to Lilly scientists, researchers and executives, as well as exposure to Lilly's functional and scientific expertise.

The co-innovation lab a first-of-its-kind collaboration that will combine advanced AI technology with some of the brightest minds in tech and science to solve the world’s toughest health challenges. Planned for San Francisco, the initiative will create continuous learning systems where world-class AI and scientific talent can build off each other, generating large-scale data to accelerate medicine discovery and improve the odds of success. The initiative will be supported by up to $1 billion in combined investment over five years from Lilly and NVIDIA.
