Sr. Ops Specialist

The Manufacturing Sr. Ops Specialist will report to ELM Operations Director. This role will be responsible for the process teams project management and resource allocation within the scope of ELM operations. This role will also be responsible for the production schedule and coordinating all the alternate demand and allocating them into the routine schedule for productivity optimization. This position requires holding project follow-up meetings, attending S&OP/Technical/CI meetings to align all the routine and project priority and alternate demand control and providing shift supervisors with capacity and time management information for business planning.
•Identifying the opportunities to improve the process excellence; lead/plan/execute on packaging process team projects.
Analyze projects with tools such as Cause and Effect Matrix (C&E) to prioritize the projects.
Coordinate the activities related to the planning and management of projects in parenteral operations, collaborating with the managers and functions involved.
Coordinates the changes within parenteral operations.
• Coordinates parenteral operations on both alternate demand and routine production schedule
Coordination of all those activities that require parenteral stops of the aseptic filling line (CM, Calibrations, Validations, testing, utility emergency CM etc.)
Work with the master planner and the shift managers, operational assistants, and PTLs for formulation, filling and inspection on the routine parenteral scheduling.
Work with the shift managers on parenteral operations resource scheduling/allocating (including day to day execution, monthly training, OT activities etc..)
• Data Analysis
Utilize tools like Power BI, Traksys, Pi-data, Dashboards to review production performance and identify improvement initiatives.
Apply RCA principles and trend analysis to identify areas of capacity gains and to help support the drafting of the Business and Strategic Plans with the parenteral PTLs.
Event/issue/CI opportunity consolidation and identifying the optimum conditions to inject in the alternate demand.
• OSSCE SME in parenteral operations
• Facilitate and manage the Flow team agenda and the lead team agenda for operations
• Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
• 2-5 years in operations or supporting operations
• Previous production/planning experience
• Cross-functional mindset
• Technical acuity
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
• Prior work with (blank)
• Proven ability to manage conflict priorities and use parallel thinking to get the most out of each outcome
• Travel may be required
• The position is for day shift, however start/stop times are somewhat flexible
• Must be flexible to attend meetings or support off-shifts as necessary
• Work is office based in ELM, but will frequent production floor
