Key Responsibilities

Operates the volume forecasting process within the Supply Chain Operating Model supporting the local BUs to improve Forecast Accuracy/Bias, customer service levels and reduce working capital

Work as communication window with Commercial for Customer Supply Chain, partners with the local marketing teams and leads to discuss & align forecast adjustment as well as supply plan, service/write off issues across relevant BUs.

Responsible to ensure, through input from the BUs, that there is a comprehensive total volume forecast including New Product Introduction, competitor activity and Tenders to ensure demand signal is correct sent out.

Contributes to strategic projects that will use demand forecasting as a lever to unlock further benefits in supply chain including Inventory Reduction, ERP, Supply Chain Transformation and new product launch etc.

Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required Educational Background

Bachelor degree

Area of specialization:

Supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management

Basic understanding of NMPA regulatory and local customs requirement

Job-Related Experience

  • Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience required:
  • At least 5 year of experience in Supply Chain preferably and Demand planning and S&OP process.
  • Experience of multiple business cycle in Commercial Sales / Marketing / Demand Forecasting / Finance operations, ideally in a Pharmaceutical environment
  • Specialist knowledge of Demand Planning
  • Other Job-Related Skills/Background:
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Strong planning ability & able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly numerate and good knowledge of supply chain forecasting software systems and processes. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
