Primary Function/Purpose
The pharmaceutical industry is going through unprecedented changes as customer expectations are being shaped by ever more innovative products and services. Lilly China is at the forefront of this transformation, with significant investment in multichannel marketing and new services such as the Lilly Connected Care Program, which integrates diabetes treatment with a digital ecosystem that connects patients and their caregivers to improve outcomes.
As part of this continuous effort to improve customer experience and patient outcomes, Lilly China is looking to hire exceptional individuals to join its Multichannel Engagement & Analytics (MCE&A) team and drive the next wave of growth for established brands and several new product launches.
The Mgr/Sr. Manager Multi Channel Engagement (MCE) is responsible for leading the development and execution of the multi-channel strategy of Lilly’s oncology brands, driving adoption of innovative marketing solutions, and continuous advancement of MCE capabilities within the brand team.

This position is ideal for professionals with upward potential to gain exposure to senior leadership and shape their path within Lilly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of brand MCE strategy
- Develop a solid knowledge of the brand’s therapeutic area and commercial strategy
- Conduct market intelligence to evaluate competitiveness of Lilly MCE offering and identify expansion opportunities
- Ensure that throughout the Customer Council process brand strategy is developed following the principles of Multi-Channel Engagement
- Own execution of MCE solutions
- Lead the development of the MCE KPIs and Customer Operational Plan (COP)
- Collaborate with brand and medical team, etc. on the creation of high-quality MCE content
- Improve “look & feel” of MCE solutions
- Identify and work with external vendors to define MCE solutions based on BU priorities, etc.
- Proactively identify innovation opportunities to expand channel offering. Attend conferences, source reports, liaise with specialized partners, etc.
- Collaborate with the commercial analytics team to develop ROI analysis and insights to improve customer experience and solution effectiveness
- Periodically share with brand team MCE performance reports and insights based on routine and ad-hoc analytics
- Act as point of reference for senior management on brand MCE activities
- Develop organizational capabilities
- Regularly share best practice with other MCE&A team members, brand teams, and the broader organization
- Grow brand teams MCE capabilities and provide consultant support.
Qualification/Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Deep interest in Multi-Channel Marketing and new technologies
- Minimum 3 years of brand management / MCE / FMCG, etc. experience
- Business level English and Chinese
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and influence without authority
- Project Management Experience
Additional Preferences
- MBA preferred
- Prior experience in digital marketing or business consulting
- Knowledge of the oncology therapeutic area
- Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, analytical skills/tools
