(Sr.) Manager, Solution Delivery
This position is responsible to implement the key digital solutions for enhanced control/compliance, better customer engagement, increased employee productivity and effective data analytics, to deliver the business value and support the rapid market growth in China. The position is accountable to engage and partner with functional and business leaders, suppliers, external IT partners and global IT leaders to drive implementation of the programs.
The working scope includes:
1) Lead the technical development team to design and implement digital solutions to meet the business needs and support business transformation.
2) Manage the project from the late LSEF stage of Proposal Phase to Deploy Phase with an appropriate level of computer system quality by utilizing professional project management methodologies, such as the Critical Chain Project Management.
3) Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for IT technology, methodologies, governance processes, architecture as the solution delivery leader for project implementation.
4) Work with internal global/local IT leaders, and external suppliers to deliver the project with high quality and meet the expected timeline.
5) Responsible for the transition of IT solutions to Service Management Team to ensure system’s quality, security and business value realization.
1.Project Manager
• Is accountable for communication with stakeholders, Business Engagement Team, Go Team/Portfolio Management Team, business partners and other related members within the scope of project management.
• Is accountable to ensure there is a project charter for every project.
• Ensures an integrated project plan is build and maintained in professional manner, such as Critical Chain Project Management methodology
• Analyzes project status and risk/issue at a high level, and facilitates resolution.
• Influences adjustments to project schedule, budget, resources, and activities as deem necessary
• Influences the prioritization of work across various projects for the team in alignment with IT governance process
• Ensures execution of OCM plan, as a part of the overarching project plan
• Educates project team members on project processes and methodologies
• Facilitates identification and support roles and responsibilities
• Is accountable for coordination of and assuring integration of all program components, including projects and establishing the program environment. This includes creating and integrating program management change control processes and establishing methodology standards for the program and standards for monitoring.
• Drives and controls Program/Project Scope Management – including prioritizing projects within the program, initiating projects; planning, defining and verifying scope; and establishing and leading scope change control processes at the Program Level.
• Assists in monitoring and controlling Project Cost Management – including resource planning and estimating, budgeting and controlling costs at the Program Level.

2. Business Analyst
• Understands the goals, objectives and business strategy of the assigned business area
• Analyzes existing business processes and participates in reengineering efforts
• Understands the business problems and needs effectively
• Uses systematic and documented approaches, investigates business requirements, works with Solution Evaluation team to identify and analyzes multiple solution alternatives and proposes one alternative based on comparative cost benefit analysis
• Understands business requirements and effectively works with related IT teams (Business Engagement, Service Management, Quality, GIS etc) to translate business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa
• Ensures appropriateness of business requirements
• Provides business process subject-matter expertise to technical resources
• Participates in design reviews for important projects to ensure traceability of requirements
• Participates in assessing end users’ training needs and contributes to the development of the OCM plan
• Ensures appropriate business roles are engaged in solution execution
• Supports user acceptance testing
• Possesses general awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, privacy regulations, GxP) impacting the business area, and ensures solution requirements include appropriate points
• Ensures user acceptance criteria are defined for system deployment and supports client acceptance testing
• Ensures that incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management are all done with alignment and understanding of business need
• Negotiates clear service levels for IT services based on business requirements
