Responsibilities:

The Medical Imaging Education Consultant will be responsible for implementing a medical imaging education plan including identifying specific education needs, development of content for various education activities, and ensuring the delivery of events on time and with high quality.

  • Identify, develop, and create high quality imaging and/or disease state-related educational content as needed for various audiences and congresses/meeting; ensure content aligns with related policies and overall strategy.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions with an active contribution to medical planning and strategy.
  • Evaluate published literature for value in dissemination to the medical team to help in development of future educational materials.  
  • Coordinate and participate in team scientific discussions (e.g., team journal club, science time, hot topics). 
  • Proficiently engage in scientific discussion with internal and field-based medical colleagues and share key learnings between parties.   
  • Oversee the quality of the information stored in team databases and ensure the data is uploaded, organized, and accurate.
  • Develop expertise on material creation, storage, review, approval processes, and data dissemination.
  • Assist with review of promotional materials to confirm scientific accuracy.
  • Assist in conduct of clinical research, including development of trial materials and initiation and closeout activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical and/or industry experience in imaging or biomarker science

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of principles of adult education and instructional design preferred
  • Experience in neurology/neurodegeneration, oncology or other areas.

Additional Information:

  • 0-10% domestic travel
  • This position can be Philadelphia or remote-based
  • Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $103,500 to $152,000 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).Of course, the compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
