As part of our commitment to improving patient outcomes, Customer Support Programs (CSP) play a critical role in patient care by helping patients get off to a good start by providing easy access to Lilly medicines, connecting them to vital support resources throughout their treatment journey.


As CSP IDS Technical Integration Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the technical design, development and implementation of integrations supporting the CSP program.  The Technical Integration lead will drive integration requirements, coordinate delivery needs, manage the integration roadmap, and play an integral role in coordinating technology, business, and enterprise teams in defining and delivering best of breed integration capabilities across a large internal and external customer support ecosystem.

  • Responsible SME for CSP integrations:
  • Provides technical integration requirements for CSP Integrations
  • Influences integration design decisions w/ input from architecture and drives CSP related priorities
  • Lead API design, promote API composability and reuse
  • Develop and evangelize the CSP integration roadmap based on business and technical priorities
  • Participate in and at times conduct formal technical design reviews
  • Approve API-related Features and Test Scripts, participate in cross-system testing and UAT
  • Build effective relationships with key technical and business resources both internally and externally. Influence the technical direction and strategy for Digital Health technology solutions, especially integrations to drive value for our patients.
  • Coordinate needs and requirements between upstream and downstream teams/systems and drive the Digital Health integration backlog / grooming / sprint planning and delivery process.

Basic Requirements: 

  • Bachelors of science or arts
  • 3+ years of hands-on technical integration experience with modern technologies
  • 2+ years coordinating external suppliers &/or partners with internal teams to support technical delivery
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Experience with integration design, API standards (REST, SOAP). iPaaS experience a plus.
  • Ability to build strong cross functional relationships.  Effective teamwork, interpersonal, conflict management and negotiation skills; ability to collaborate and build relationships with peers and business partners.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and team building skills (e.g., effective coaching and feedback)
  • Ability to work with large cross-functional teams and projects projects, both in-person and virtually.
  • Self-management, time management and organizational skills. Able to manage a diverse workload, set personal priorities and adjust as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, without direct authority, to ensure alignment to common methods and approaches necessary to achieving required outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, risk management and decision skills. Able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes, solve unique and complex problems.
