The LTC Manufacturing & Quality (MQ) Information and Digital Solutions (IDS) Infrastructure team provides critical infrastructure support to our manufacturing and distribution sites based in Indianapolis.
You will be responsible for providing support for workstations, networks, tablets and printers at distribution sites in Indianapolis and two remote locations. You will also have the opportunity to work on strategic infrastructure projects for these distribution sites.

Key Objectives:
  • You will collaborate with our customers to understand their needs and generate technical requirements for workstations, mobile devices, printers and wireless infrastructure.
  • You will build and qualify workstations and generate all the supporting documentation.
  • Take on problems on platforms like Citrix, RealVNC, VDI, Linux, iGel technology, Windows XP/7/10 OS, workstation hardware and telecommunication equipment.
  • You will be responsible to collaborate with vendors regarding hardware requirements, operating system installations, and purchasing
  • Train end user(s) on the operations of new equipment, workstation software, networking, etc.
  • You will consult on questions regarding infrastructure, compatibility, backup and configuration issues
  • Develop strategy for immediate and future upgrades of operating systems, software applications, workstation hardware and networking infrastructure.
  • Perform application and operating system upgrades for lab and automation systems
  • You will develop procedures and supporting documentation for infrastructure activities.
  • Assist with validation of new and existing systems by providing technical design information to assure GMP data integrity

  • HS Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of IT Infrastructure experience
  • Experience working on Warehouse management systems
  • Ability to lift approx. 10-15 lbs.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Focus on the customer
  • Ability to work in a diverse team
  • Understanding of Manufacturing safety & quality. GMP knowledge and training
  • This position will be primarily based in Plainfield, IN.
  • Off hours work sometimes required to implement initiatives and/or support a 24x7 manufacturing and packaging site
  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
