The Identity and Access Management Services team within our Information Security organization provides critical identity-based services that enable secure, appropriate and timely access to enterprise resources. These services are used across every business function and geographic region and are critical to enabling our global workforce to excel while keeping their information secure.
The Intelligent Identity Engineer role will be responsible for technical leadership in the design and support of our transformation to embrace intelligent identity capabilities across our enterprise. In this role, you will work as part of a team to deliver adaptive, risk-based authentication and access services that prevent malicious users from gaining access to our cloud and on-premise information. All while improving the user experience for our workforce. While primarily focused on workforce identities, you will also help implement our external identity strategy to simplify the identity lifecycle for our third party organization users. You will have the opportunity to influence a range of IAM services that span single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and many more in our journey to improve the security and usability of our services.

Personal Responsibilities and Objectives
Implement and support cloud-based IAM services for use within our enterprise.
Understand technical trends in cloud technologies and our IAM providers to determine impact on our current services.
Lead key initiatives, including implementation of capabilities and continuous improvement opportunities for Access and Authentication services.
Understand requirements and needs of the business through building relationships with users.
Maintain third party integrations with our Azure AD tenant and federation identity provider (IdP)
Lead resolution of complex technical issues identified by you and our Identity and Access Management team.
Demonstrate technical leadership for external vendor resources supporting these services.
Develop reporting mechanisms for metrics as they relate to these services.
Ensure services have controlled processes and procedures for the installation, qualification, or validation of hardware and software that meet Lilly’s Quality Practice requirements, standards, and policies.
Collaborate with other service areas to gain comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure and integration points (SharePoint On-line/Teams, Exchange on-line, mobility, client, platform services, external collaboration services)
Bachelor of Science degree
3+ years of work experience with identity and access management systems, designing/supporting cloud technologies, or information security.

Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Deep understanding of authentication and authorization technologies and federated identity standards and protocols (multifactor authentication, certificate-based authentication, LDAP Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect)
Experience designing and implementing enterprise security tools
Knowledge of Graph API and PowerShell for Azure
Strong teamwork, self-management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to deliver clear direction in a complex and ambiguous environment.
CISSP-ISSAP/ISSEP, CEH, CCSP, CCNP certifications
