The mission of Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences (TS/MS) is to provide scientific leadership and technical support for manufacturing to make medicine today and tomorrow.  The Visual Inspection Test Administrator is a key member in a cross-functional team who provides training qualifications for operations involving existing and new inspection processes.   This person interacts daily with a wide variety of people, including customers, other personnel and site management. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Will qualify operations and quality personnel for inspection processes and execute the re-qualification strategy. 
  • May be involved in orienting new employees to the department, assess skills and competencies for all operators, coordinate On-the-Job-Trainers (OJTs) to close skill gaps, provide on-the-job feedback to reinforce training, and assess documents or systems that the operators utilize to perform their jobs for improvement opportunities. 
  • Is instrumental in revision of key procedures / training courses in order to make them more user friendly and better understood by operators. 
  • Responsible for understanding and communicating changes to paper or electronic forms, tools and templates prior to their effective date. 
  • Assists supervision with identifying appropriate duty curriculum assigned to learning plans. 
  • Maintain printed or electronic document logbooks. 

Basic Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma

  • Previously qualified for parenteral inspection. 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment  and ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves, respirator, etc.) 
  • Some allergens are present in the parenteral plant. Mobility requirements and exposure to allergens should be considered when applying for this position. 
  • Position involves work in combination of office and manufacturing areas 
  • This position will start as a day shift, Monday-Friday, with ability to work overtime, weekends, off-shifts by request. The position shift schedule is subject and is likely to change to a night shift role.
  • This position is not permanent and will be for a 1-4 year agreement.
