The Lilly Business Television (BTV) hosts hundreds of broadcasted events for organizations across the globe from the professionally managed studio or various remote locations throughout our Lilly campus and across the world. Lilly is seeking a BTV Studio Executive Producer to own and manage this service and ensure effective and innovative meeting experiences that meet the objective of executives and communications partners throughout Lilly.

The BTV Studio Executive Producer will have responsibility for the overall production, staff and services produced from the BTV studio services to ensure events produced from the BTV services are highly effective, engaging and meet the objective of the Lilly customers.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Activities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Consult and produce effective broadcasted Events - pre / during and post event. Events may include Team / Yammer Live Event, Media Broadcasts (CNN) or Executive Conferencing.
  • Responsible for service improvements to maintain innovative event experiences
  • Responsible for relationship with Executive Committee and Corporate Communications to ensure broadcast events are professionally managed and meet customer objectives.
  • Provide leadership and support within broadcast events as an event Executive Producer or to fill a crew position such as Production Coordinator, Quality Control or Slides Operator, as required by Lilly.
  • Troubleshoot on-the-fly within live webcast/production environment and appropriately report back to Lilly customers on any technical issues
  • Interface with customers and identify the best technical approach and location for each individual event based on customer goals, active participants, and audience.
  • Interface with production staff services involving logistics, scheduling, and crewing upcoming events.
  • Facilitate appropriate testing within modern technology and oversee the process to make sure broadcasts are primed for success.
  • Collaborate with sponsors of events to proactively communicate information needed to execute each event.
  • Supervise and direct personnel from consultant who support BTV events.
  • Partner with other Lilly-chosen third-party vendors such as CBRE, Markey’s, and others to ensure success of all broadcast events.
  • Provide coaching within the team that fosters inclusion and innovation, continual improvement, and external understanding and awareness

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years in Event Studio production or related Technology field
  • Experience with Account management and C-Level Professionals
  • Proven experience to effectively manage a Live broadcasted production or event
  • Proven ability to bring work to successful completion, even when managing virtual or cross functional teams
  • Prior successful vendor management experience
  • Proven record for delivery or leadership

  • Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment-including team members across the globe
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational, time management, and the ability to work on multiple projects
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong analysis/problem assessment skills
  • Proven Experience with Microsoft Yammer Live Events and Teams Meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influence and lead both with and without authority, as well as strong interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence management and peers in a global organization

Additional Information:

  • Able to occasionally adjust working hours to outside Indianapolis hours
  • Able to travel as needed (<10%)
