Lilly USA IT Solution & Insights is responsible for providing data platforms and analytics solutions for the US Affiliate. This role will primarily be responsible for technical integration for major solution delivery efforts. This position will report to the IT manager primarily responsible for analytics solution delivery and operations.
Manage data and analytics operations support services for the US Affiliate
Network with internal IT teams to ensure the analytics infrastructure components are professionally managed and monitored (life-cycle and change management)
Stay abreast of tools and technologies to influence IT strategy so that it provides best usage opportunities for business
Partner with capabilities teams to understand the appropriate menu of technologies and tools, and leverage for solution delivery
Ensure solution adherence to appropriate quality, compliance, and security standards
Ensure successful transition of applications from solution delivery teams to the operations team through planning and knowledge transfer
Facilitate the transition from legacy data warehouse platform (Netezza) to new platform (PureData)
Achieve technical proficiency in the core tools used by the solution services team (e.g. Netezza, Tableau, SQL)
Develop expertise of processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate
Understand the key elements of solutions’ related data and business usage
Develop technical requirements and solution designs
Responsible for the system performance and user experience of solutions
Partner with and influence vendor resources on solution development to ensure understanding of data and technical direction for solutions
Responsible for system up-time, system monitoring, incident response, and problem resolution
Establish and manage operations release schedules that integrate with the solution development program
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT solution delivery or operations

Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
Familiar with the technical architecture associated with data warehousing and analytic environments
Expertise with SQL, ETL and BI tools
