This position will be responsible for document control activities, training assignments and records management for US Affiliate business areas and Global Affiliate Quality. This position also serves as back-up for the Global Quality Document Control and Training activities.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:
Document Control:
  • Monitor document management site for work requests and access requests
  • Ensure format of submitted documents is accurate with the appropriate versioning
  • Manage documents in various document repositories, based on the group being supported
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Power User for the Document Management system
  • Ensure appropriate training has been completed prior to giving access to the Document Management system
  • Serve as back-up for Global Quality document control activities
Training / Learning Development:
  • Monitor document management site for curriculum and training requests
  • Perform periodic curricula reviews
  • Assist managers with maintaining Learning Plans
  • Troubleshoot Learning Plan errors/questions
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Training system
  • Serve as back-up for Global Quality training activities
Records Management:
  • Manage records management site by appropriately cataloging hard copy documents that are sent off site for archive
  • Maintain appropriate supplies in the Document Processing room
  • Maintain audit carts
SharePoint:
  • Maintain integrity of information on various Quality collaboration sites
Additional duties include:
  • Maintain Quality procedures in a state of inspection readiness (aligned with relevant Standards and Regulations)
  • Maintain training compliance
  • Provide support and education to business partners related to document control and training
  • Provide audit support by pulling requested reports and documents

  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years document control experience
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing, if applicable.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
  • Experience in GMP environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Document Control and Training preferred
  • Experience with Regulus, Veeva and TrackWise helpful
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent time management skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities Demonstrated technical writing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal; good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent tasks; good planning and organization skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong self-management/motivation, strong curiosity skills with the ability to anticipate problems and provide potential solutions and work to resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions within scope of responsibility
  • This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
