Accountable for advancing Elanco value creation and sales with strategic customers.
Develop account plans that identify and prioritize milestones based on the most mutually-beneficial overlap of customer goals and Elanco current and future capabilities / offer.
Lead the coordination of internal Elanco resources from sales, technical, marketing, value beyond product, and analytics (EKS) to focus on customer needs and opportunities.
“Quarterbacking” an account team to create clarity, alignment and focus on moving account plans forward by focusing on key milestone achievement.
Prepare and create data analysis such as but not limited to customized, spreadsheet-based decision making tools and models.
Provide consultation with customers in the areas of business development and production.
Responsible for sustained relationship growth and joint strategic vision development with key influencers within the cattle business.
Coaching/mentoring team members and participating in leadership roles in the Beef or Dairy industry.
Leverage knowledge of Food Animal Business and articulate that knowledge into the strategic planning process to shape the future of Elanco’s FA business.
Minimum BS or above in Animal Science, Business, Marketing or related field
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

5 years work experience in the animal health industry - ideally in a sales or consulting role.
Preferred, but not required, an advanced degree in statistics or MBA Ability to influence without authority through effective interpersonal relationship from production level to executive level personnel.
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information to a broad range of audiences.

Excellent written and oral communication / presentation skills.
Advanced Excel proficiency and data analysis
