The primary focus of this position will be on key initiatives in the Finance space to ensure that Information Technology solutions are leveraged to meet the business outcomes. Immediate focus is on the SAP implementation team with accountability on for Treasury, Tax, Financial Planning and reporting. The responsibilities will include working across the Elanco enterprise to ensure One Elanco focused outcomes. In partnership with the Information Technology Leadership and other Information Technology Advisors/Consultants, this role will have direct responsabilities across the Global Business Service IT for:
Engaging with Global Business Finance Stakeholders to understand and influence broad business strategies in the context of information technology as a key enabler and differentiator
Having and building comprehensive knowledge of internal and external information technology enviroements with a focus on Treasury, Tax, Financial Planning and Reporting
Correlating business and IT insights into business value driven IT architectural roadmap in the Finance space
Parntering across the IT organization, with a focus on SAP driven processes, to set definitive strategies that lead to accelerated outcomes across complex problems or opportunities driven in a One Elanco mindset.
Interpret and translate complex regulatory drivers, compliance reuqirments, company risks, and company exposures to ensure IT solutions in Finance space are best postioned to maintain integrity, trust and reliability
Lead the delivery of key Finance IT initiatives
Design Global Processes that can be supported by Global Business Services central location(s) and automated whenever possible.
Support BD&L activities as relates to SAP involvement
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology or Finance
Minimum 5 year's experience with SAP design and broad financial business process that influenced the performance of a global business process/area/function through the use of Information Technology

Deep finance business knowledge in general accounting, taxation, treasury, financial planning and reporting.
Direct experience in new SAP Implementations with a focus on finance, including tax, treasury and corporate finance.
Experience with SAP S/4Hana
Strong leadership and negotiating skills across different levels of leadership.
Expertise working in a complex and diverse landscape (business, technology, regulatory and partners).
Strong organization and communication skills with key focus on conveying complex ideas and thoughts into clear definitive directions and results.
Comfortable with ambiguity and working autonomously
Experience in Computer System Validation in a GxP environment
Experience in making configuration changes within a SAP environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
