This position will own the operational aspects of customer incentive programs and administer the programs in the pricing platform while ensuring accurate and timely execution of rebate payments to Elanco direct and indirect customers
  • Lead consulting discussion with business organizations to influence and help design customer incentive programs that can be operationalized under existing capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement of program design across business organizations leveraging expertise on rebate framework and knowledge of Elanco customers and channels
  • Determine and implement appropriate processes to execute on each programs guidelines considering current capabilities and resources, and recommend actions to bridge gaps
  • Set up and administer incentive programs in the pricing platform ensuring all aspects of the rebate execution are addressed for a flawless payment
  • Ensure prioritization and timely execution of rebate payments with high level standards of accuracy and compliance with program rules
  • Trigger rebate payments requests, validation and approvals, and support the business organizations during accrual review cycles
  • Address reconciliation issues between calculated and claimed rebates with program owners
  • Drive process compliance at program execution level and establish process to monitor and address non-conformities and exception requests with stakeholders
  • Manage the relationship and service levels from third party vendors responsible for settling rebate payments including budget, purchase orders and business reviews
  • Ensure adequate process documentation and training materials are developed and maintained
  • Establish, monitor, and report rebate metrics and KPIs to measure service levels and operational effectiveness
  • Support internal and external auditors and own coordination of action plans where audit procedures identify areas of potential risk or control weakness

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance, Sales, Marketing or Commercial Operations
  • Experience with major rebates platform such as Vistex and Model-N
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
  • Advanced MS-Excel knowledge (macros, pivot tables, and formulas)
  • Proven experience with customer incentive programs in complex business environment
  • Proven analytical skills, strong time management and control oriented
  • Familiarity with human pharmaceutical or animal health businesses
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead without authority
  • Aptitude to lead large meetings and present ideas in a clear and concise fashion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable working with senior leadership team
  • Proven problem solving skills with ability to conduct root-cause analysis and draw conclusions
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to make process decisions without supervision
  • Knowledge of Business Unit structure, customer hierarchy and sales class
  • Experience in leading project work streams and implementing tactics across departments
  • Demonstrated capacity of owning complex issues and commitment to solution and execution
  • Location - Elanco Headquarters – Greenfield, IN
  • Travel 10%
