The Global Business Solutions (GBS) Center at Cork was established in July 2010 to provide financial shared services such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, General Accounting and Global Travel and Meeting services. Since then, the scope of GBS Cork has expanded outside of Finance and into other Business Service functions, including Customer Meeting Services, Global HR Data Management and Medical Information. This growth, outside of Finance, is in addition to continued growth in our original Finance scope.
This means that we have a diverse group of employees from finance professionals to HR professionals to medical professionals and event planning experts. The current headcount is circa 400 multi-lingual employees and the culture is vibrant and diverse. The primary role of the Workforce Solutions Analyst is to support the global HR organization by serving as a lead expert for the processes and technology operated & owned by the Global HR Solutions team.
  • Be seen as a “go-to” information resource for all HR process related queries by understanding thoroughly the full set of HR processes as well as a working knowledge of the underlying systems on which they are operated
  • Ensure data accuracy by conducting assessments, troubleshooting and correcting identified HR Data issues
  • Coordinate & lead the robust testing for IT system updates and new releases with specific focus on maintaining & enhancing the quality of the underlying HR processes
  • Support the Global HR Solutions team by leading the troubleshooting, escalation & resolution of HR data and system issues
  • Influence & own the Global HR Data standards
  • Support the training of internal HR groups across affiliates on the HR Data Mgt processes
  • Support global/regional HR Process related projects to continue to enhance and bring efficiencies to the HR processes by acting as the regional process expert for HR data management
  • Support the overall Global HR Solutions team by demonstrating flexibility in providing cover for team members and training of new team members
  • Analyse business workflows and processes and introduce process improvements
  • Lead workstreams for the transition of global processes into new technology
  • 2-5 year’s experience with SAP HR Module or similar HRM system
  • Demonstrated experience (on 1 or more projects) working effectively across functional or geographical boundaries in order to achieve business outcomes.
  • Experience with Org Publisher and other database applications
  • Experience with managing a HR Dashboard & HR Toolkit
  • Experience in Business Warehouse or Business Objects, MS Office
  • 2-5 years’ experience in HR function with knowledge of integration of various HR systems & data
  • Demonstrated experience (on 1 or more projects) working effectively across functional or geographical boundaries in order to achieve business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to speak additional languages is a benefit (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian)

  • Participate in key projects to support HR data management initiatives.
  • Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in global team environment and communicate effectively with HR and business partners
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables
  • Curiosity of how data systems are integrated and impact each other
  • Ability to work flexible hours at times to communicate with global customers and partners
