Purpose

The TCC Finance Manager will support & manage:

A team of Finance Associates & Assistants.
Overall Investigator & Non Investigator related clinical trial payments operations.
Payments Strategy, Process Improvement & Innovation.
Data Management and Transaction Processing.
Reporting Reviews.
Metrics Reviews.
Compliance.
Operational Excellence and Projects.


Responsibilities: 

Managerial responsibilities:

People manage on a day to day basis
Accountable for ensuring that TCC Finance operations are managed to a high standard
Conduct regular 1-1s
Conduct regular meaningful team meetings
Perform appraisal reviews
Deliver regular performance feedback to direct reports
Recruitment as applicable
Ensuring that training resources are up to date and are available


TCC Finance Operations Management

Ensure the team operations in investigator & non investigator payments are at a consistent high standard with issues resolved in a timely manner
Closely partner with the team to ensure reporting & metrics are delivered to deadlines
Ensure management payments escalations are followed up on, reviewed and closed out in a timely manner
Closely partner with TCC Management; Site Engagement; Clinical Development Consultants, in relation to payments queries, processes and escalations
Drive the compliance agenda with the team and ensuring that the team understands the importance of compliance and the controls governing the TCC Finance processes
Drive the documentation agenda with the team to ensure SOPs, Reference Documents; Job Aids etc are kept live and up to date


Qualifications

Fluency in English; European language an advantage
University Degree on Accounting/Business or equivalent
Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant desirable
Demonstrated knowledge of multinational GBS or equivalent environment
Strong Leadership skills essential with previous people management experience
Strong knowledge of internal controls
Experience working in a high production, fast paced environment
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Superior communication skills
Strong organization building skills, including the ability to attract and develop new talent and to develop linkages with the company’s different divisions and functions
Experience in working internationally and ability to interact with different affiliates, cultures, markets.
High energy and the enthusiasm to lead a new organization
