The Sr Lean Change Agent will lead the Site Wide lean implementation for the Operational Systems providing operational excellence expertise and help in defining improvement activities targeting removal of none value adding work. This individual will create and support sustainability and continuous improvement throughout the transformation through mentoring and coaching on lean principles and tools.

  • Lead the lean transformation/implementation across Site and in departments:
  • Conduct detailed analysis for purpose of diagnostic and identification of “levers” to achieve defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI) or improved performance
  • Work with area management or representative to build level 1 and level 2 Tactical Implementation Plans (TIP)
  • Support and coach area and Site management to implement according to their TIP and ensure desires results are achieved
  • Teach and coach on lean principles and tools with the goal of educating and engaging a continuous improvement mindset
  • Provide post-implementation support including sustainability, defining the next phase of improvements, and ongoing coaching on lean principles and tools
  • Provide coaching to site management on lean principles and tools
  • Support the achievement of site KPIs, the change agenda, and/or critical Safety and Quality needs using lean/OpEx principles and tools
  • Seek to influence and support any improvement initiative associated with the lean elements of common objectives, efficient high quality and safe work, continuous improvement, and development of people
Support the Lead Team in defining and implementing the lean roadmap across the site 52535BR
  • Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience, plus 5-7 years of related technical experience
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and train others
  • Ability to influence others and manage difficult situations
  • Competent in project management (can manage to tight deadlines)
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills (Root Cause Analysis)
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of business processes
  • Self-managed and self-motivated-comfortable working in an agile environment
  • Ability to think strategically and convert high level strategies into defined plans to achieve results
  • Previous knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma
