Global Field Solutions – Technical Integrator

Organization Overview:

Global Shared Services Information & Digital Solutions (GSS IDS) is accountable for commercial and customer engagement platforms, services and capabilities that span all business units and geographies.  The areas supported include Global Master Data, Global Customer Operations, Global Medical Affairs, Global PRA, Global Market Research, Global Patient Outcomes & Real-World Evidence, Transformation, Enterprise HealthCare Provider Engagement as well as the regional Marketing Operations, Commercial Operations, Omnichannel Hubs and PRA organizations.

The Global Field Solutions Technical Integrator position has two main areas of focus: subject area expertise and project delivery.  This role has a direct impact on field and customer experience and is a key strategic enabler to the commercialization of products across the world. As our digital marketing ecosystem and business operating models are shifting, a need exists to expand, integrate, and scale across functions such as sales and marketing. 

Lilly - Job details:

The Global Field Solutions Technical Integrator, in partnership with other team members, will implement solutions that deliver value to our field users across the world. Additionally, the Technical Integrator will be a subject matter expert for a subset of solutions supported by the team. These two major areas of focus may be held concurrently or on a rotation basis, based on team needs and capacity.

This individual will:

  • Partner with solution architecture to deliver reliable, scalable, quality, secure solutions to our customers.
  • Oversee projects and partner with business integrators to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure architecture principles are followed and adhered to.
  • Collaborate across the team to ensure solutions are delivered without impact to other areas.
  • Solve problems and create solutions with quality and creativity.
  • Ensure information security, quality, and related documentation is complete and processes are followed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a different field with relevant technical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system experience

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Salesforce and/or Veeva CRM knowledge/certifications
  • Basic ETL tool knowledge – Informatica Cloud preferred
  • Exposure to Cloud Vendors and concepts – AWS preferred
  • Knowledge/Certification in Agile delivery – Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
  • Experience in a regulated industry – pharmaceutical preferred
  • Proven track record in IT project delivery
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives requiring active involvement on a business facing environment
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with IT and business stakeholders (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build networks with diverse groups of individuals and to work effectively within geographically dispersed team and partners
  • Effective analytical, problem solving and investigative skills
  • Strong learning agility
  • Strong self-management skills and ability to work in ambiguity
  • Ability to coordinate deliverables across multiple vendors
